Passage Pommeraye and its galleries in Nantes poster

Nantes poster, the Passage Pommeraye and its grand staircase

This Nantes poster draws the eye into the Passage Pommeraye. Its grand central staircase with carved balustrades, its 2 statues on pedestals and its cast-iron lamppost are arranged across 3 stacked galleries, beneath a long glass roof. The light falling from the glass ceiling illuminates the richness of the ornaments and brings this jewel of Nantes architecture back to life. The title “NANTES” crowns this rare, elegant interior view. You almost feel as if you’re walking down the steps among the strollers.

The Passage Pommeraye for an entryway or office

Refined, it fits well in an entryway, a hallway, a living room or an office. Its stone and metal tones pair with brass, varnished wood, velvet and period light fixtures. It can join other Nantes or architecture posters. It’s a perfect gift for a Nantes local, someone who loves the passage where they once strolled, a 19th-century architecture enthusiast or a friend moving to Nantes.
