Woman in a trench coat under a streetlamp poster, “MIDNIGHT STREET”

Standing beneath a tall streetlamp, a woman in a belted trench coat waits on a misty street in the middle of the night. The warm glow of the lamp falls on the wet cobblestones and makes their reflections shimmer. This urban night poster creates a film noir atmosphere of nocturnal blues, deep shadows and a golden halo. We don’t know who she is waiting for, and that mystery is what gives the image its strength. The title “MIDNIGHT STREET” accompanies this scene in landscape format.

A film noir mood for a living room or office

Horizontal in shape, it fits above a sofa, a desk or in a hallway, and its dark blues work as well on a light wall as in a room with deep tones. It pairs well with leather, dark wood, black metal and warm-glow lamps. It can join other cinema posters or night scenes. It makes a great gift for a film noir fan, a crime novel reader or anyone who loves cities at night.
